Any new or returning student who wishes to participate in D.A. Athletics for 2019-2020, must complete the following form(s):
Before Try-Outs--Athletic Pre-Registration Form: Required for all new and returning student-athletes. This must be completed and submitted before try-outs. Students who have not completed this form will be unable to participate in try-outs. Click here to complete the form.
After Making a Team(s)--Athletic Registration and Payment Form: Required for all students who have tried out and been accepted onto a team(s). This must be completed as soon as possible, no later than September 10, 2019 for Soccer, Swimming, Track/Cross Country, and Volleyball. Students who fail to submit this form will be unable to participate in practices or games. Click here to complete the form.
D.A. Medical Report and Sports Participation Screening Form: Required for all student-athletes. This must be completed by a physician and submitted no later than September 10, 2019 for Soccer, Swimming, Track/Cross Country, and Volleyball. Failure to do so will result in the student being unable to participate in any athletic activities. Click here to complete the form.

Team Meeting & Practice: Monday 8/26 at 2PM at DA. Come with your gear!
Daily practice begins Monday Sept 9th. The team meets in the school lobby by 3:15. Jog to the park together, stretch, train, and return to school together (usually by 4:15). Practices for the week will be posted on the athletic bulletin board and be sent to the team weekly. It is important, safe & fun when you train with the team. Make sure to pair-up when entering and leaving the Park. Friday is a rest day or light run at home or school.
If you have not begun training, please do the below:
- Train at least every other day (weather permitting).
- Start with 20 minutes, and increase by 5 minutes each week. It is OK if you need to take breaks during your run.
- To mix it up and if you feel strong, add a few pick-ups (which are not quite sprints but a faster paced run for about 30 seconds to 1 minute long)
