Student Life
Dominican Academy offers a wide range of activities that provide students of every grade level with opportunities for leadership and personal growth. We work to shape the whole person--intellectual, emotional, and physical---with programs that inspire and expand our students' horizons. Dominican Academy offers an experience unlike any other. We balance academic excellence in a diverse, dynamic environment where everyone knows your name and helps one another. Like Saint Dominic, we strive to see the face of God in others and reach out in friendship.
Over 35 Clubs & organizations
Though we are a small school, our students have no shortage of clubs and activities to enjoy! Our clubs mirror the diversity of our students' interests and passions: from Literary Journal and Museum Club to Engineering Club and Women's Empowerment, there's something for everyone. Athletic Excellence
D.A. students shine both in the classroom and on the court or field. Over 40% of D.A. students participate in Athletics as members of our intramural Tennis team or on our 8 Varsity teams: Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Indoor and Outdoor Track, and Volleyball. Reaching out to others
Service to others forms an integral part of life at D.A. Our four-year Service Learning Program (S.L.P.) combines in-class instruction and reflection with service in action. Students participate in retreats each year during their time at D.A., as well as annual days of service with members of their grade. Read on for more information.
