June/August: TACHS Prep - Get ready to ace your high school entrance exams with our comprehensive TACHS/HSPT course sponsored by the experts at P.M. Gillen: Elite Test Prep & Admissions. Review material for the different sections of the exam, practice valuable test-taking techniques, and make new friends! This program is open to both girls and boys.

Wednesday, October 29, 2025: TACHS deadline for internet and phone registration (10:59 PM EST). Parents should not miss this deadline!
Friday, November 7, 2025: TACHS Exam administered in the Archdiocese of New York, test times are randomly assigned, and two sessions will be held at 8:30 AM and 10 AM.
Saturday, November 8, 2025: TACHS Exam administered in the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens, test times are randomly assigned, and two sessions will be held at 8:30 AM and 10 AM.
Friday, December 12, 2025: Deadline to submit application documents and Financial Aid: Deadline for all application materials for prospective 9th-grade students, All supplemental application materials (Applicant Records, Letters of Recommendation, Letters of Explanation) must be submitted electronically to admissions@dominicanacademy.org. Interested families must submit a financial aid application electronically through School & Student Services (SSS) no later than December 12, 2025. Please note that Financial Aid packages cannot exceed more than half the cost of tuition.
January 21, 2026: Admissions decisions and scholarship decisions released at 4 PM.
February 6, 2026: Statements of Intent and Tuition Deposits due to secure a space in the Class of 2030.
March 11, 2026: Registration Day for the Class of 2030.
May 12, 2026: Math Placement Test/ Orientation for Incoming Class - Students currently taking Algebra I who wish to be considered for Geometry in the 9th grade at D.A. must sit our Placement Exam. We will have our First Year Orientation following the exam in our Auditorium.

April 29, 2026: Sneak Peek Open House:
All D.A. Open Houses give prospective families the chance to explore our academic and extracurricular programs, speak with current students and faculty about their experience, and learn about the application process. Our Sneak Peek Open House will be geared more toward 6th and 7th-grade students who have never been to our home before.
