August 2022: TACHS Prep - Get ready to ace your high school entrance exams with our comprehensive TACHS/HSPT course sponsored by P.M. Gillen and the test-prep experts at Elite Test Prep. Review material for the different sections of the exam, practice valuable test-taking techniques, and make new friends! This program is open to both girls and boys.

Learn about D.A.'s 125-year legacy of excellence in education! Tour our historic townhouse, learn about our academic and extracurricular programs, and speak with current students and faculty about their experience. All guests must register for a time slot. October 27, 2022: TACHS Registration deadline.

November 4, 2022: TACHS Exam administered in the Archdiocese of New York.

November 5, 2022: TACHS Exam administered in the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens.

Please note that ALL interested students must indicate D.A. as one of their three choices on the TACHS exam. Our school code is 204.

December 14, 2022: Deadline for all application materials for prospective 9th grade students, All supplemental application materials (Applicant Records, Letters of Recommendation, Letters of Explanation) must be submitted electronically to

January 18, 2023: Admissions decisions and scholarship invitations released.

January 21, 2023: Scholarship Exam by invitation only. The exam will be held at DA from 11am-1pm.

February 3rd, 2023: Statements of Intent and Tuition Deposits due to secure a space in the Class of 2027. 

March 1, 2023: Registration Day for the Class of 2027. Please refer to your acceptance packet for details on how to complete this important milestone.

Looking ahead: Summer Camp 2023 for incoming 9th and rising 8th graders
D.A. Summer is your opportunity to make NYC your classroom as you make new friends during our distinctive summer program. Each day, students will visit a cultural or historic landmark and participate in workshops, activities, and STEM labs taught by D.A. faculty. Past visits have included the Museum of Natural History, Morgan Library, South Street Seaport, Museum of the Moving Image, and more! One or two week sessions are available. Stay tuned for more details on our Summer 2023 offerings.
