College Guidance

Each year, 100% of our graduates attend four-year colleges and universities. The Class of 2025 earned close to $23 million dollars in merit scholarships and grants, and will be attending prestigious institutions in the U.S. and abroad. SCOIR

We are excited to offer SCOIR to our students. SCOIR is a free service available to all D.A. students. SCOIR is transforming the college admissions process from a short-term, quantitative action to a long-term, qualitative engagement. Many schools are now changing from the traditional Naviance program to the new SCOIR network program.

This program eases the college application process, expand college access and improve results by simplifying research and the decision-making process. The user friendly designed software engages, educates and facilitates interaction among students, parents/guardians, guidance counselors, teachers and colleges/universities.

College Info Sessions

Senior College Night

Each fall, D.A. invites all Seniors, along with their parents/guardians to attend our Senior College Information Session. Our College Guidance counselors facilitate this evening event. Please check back for more details on our Fall '21 event.

Junior College Night

D.A. administrators host a special annual event for all Junior students and parents. The evening is designed to provide comprehensive information about the college application process, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid. Please check back for dates and additional details.

College Night for Sophomores and Freshmen

This information session, specially prepared for Sophomore and Freshmen parents, is an introduction to the college admissions process. It provides a snapshot of the current college admissions landscape and presents all that D.A. offers to assist students and parents during the college application process. On-Site College Admissions Visits

Each Fall, D.A. invites Admissions representatives to meet directly with interested Juniors and Seniors during the school day. In 2019-20, the following colleges and universities visited D.A.:
