Summer Connection Camp at D.A.
Summer Connection Camp at Dominican Academy is an exciting way for rising 7th and 8th graders—as well as 9th graders who are set to start at D.A. this fall—to explore New York City while getting a taste of life at D.A. Each day, students visit cultural and historical landmarks, bringing learning to life in a fun, hands-on way. Whether exploring museums or iconic institutions, they’ll dive into history, art, and science—just like they would as students at D.A., where intellectual curiosity is at the heart of everything we do.
Beyond the city adventures, participants take part in workshops, creative activities, and STEM lab sessions led by D.A. faculty. They’ll get a feel for the school’s engaging academics while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The program isn’t just about learning—it’s about trying new things, challenging yourself, and discovering your potential.
This year, Summer Connection will be offered for two weeks, from June 16-20, and from June 23-27. Camp days run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and participants can opt to attend either or both weeks, with a discount for taking part in both sessions.
“For those considering Dominican Academy for high school, it’s the perfect introduction to the academic excellence, values, and close-knit community that make D.A. so special,” said Mrs. Lauren Checo, director of admissions.
