On September 26, Dominican Academy marked a historic new chapter in its 128-year history during the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit at St. Vincent Ferrer Church. In a special ceremony, the school celebrated the transfer of sponsorship from the Dominican Sisters of Peace, who faithfully guided the Academy for the past 15 years, to Dominican Veritas Ministries (DVM).

A new era of D.A. athletics is opening doors for student athletes. This year alone, five D.A. graduates went on to compete at the collegiate level. "In every single program, we've seen growth in competitiveness, discipline, and spirit," said Annie Sullivan, P '20, D.A.'s athletic director.

On May 3, 2024, Dominican Academy joined with Regis High School for the Annual Walkathon, a school tradition dating back to 1987.
