| Every student attends at least two cultural trips per year through the Culture Series. In 2007, a vocal workshop with opera singers and Broadway actors at Lincoln Center and a trip to the Museum of Television and Radio were included. Le Cercle Francais hosts a weeklong French celebration, Francomania.
Each spring, the school celebrates its multicultural student body with Culture Day. Students perform native dances and songs, prepare international cuisine, and dress in traditional clothing.
An Arts Festival, where the Glee Club and Dance Club perform, is in May. Students are invited to a yearly trip abroad (past destinations have included Europe, Asia, and Australia), as well as to a winter weekend Ski Trip. In 2008, students and faculty traveled to Italy. |
