| The academic program is largely standard for the first two years, with incoming sophomores choosing their language courses.
All Dominican Academy students must fulfill the following curriculum requirements: - Religious Studies: 4 years
- English: 4 years
- Social Studies: 4 years
- Mathematics: 3 years
- Science: 3 years
- Latin: 2/3 years
- French/Spanish: 2/3 years
- Music/Drama: 2 years
- Research/Technology: 1 year
- Health: ½ year
- Dance (Physical Education): 4 years
Every student attends a weekly guidance class and is paired with an on-site school counselor. Each counselor monitors the academic and personal progress of her students. In junior and senior year, college and career counseling is required.
Students will graduate with the New York State Regents Diploma as well as the Dominican Academy school diploma.
