Dear Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2008,

As your daughter’s years at Dominican Academy come to a close, we know it is important to you to recognize her accomplishments and show your support and love for her. Every year the yearbook staff welcomes families to put a message (“booster”) in the yearbook to their graduating seniors. The students look forward to seeing what their families have written to them. We ask you to consider purchasing a Booster in the yearbook for your senior. Please extend this opportunity to other family members, friends, etc.  Seniors, you may want to submit a Booster to your friends or to the entire class of 2008 as well!

Because of the large class size, we ask that you try to keep your Boosters brief! We want to make sure that there is room for each senior to have a booster.  Remember to include the first and last name(s) of the senior(s) the booster is dedicated to and whom the message is from - IN THE BOOSTER! 

Boosters must be typed and handed to a yearbook staff member along with the payment. Boosters will not be accepted without payment.  Checks should be made payable to Dominican Academy. Please include the name of the student in the memo line.  If you are paying cash, please enclose money in the envelope with your name and the student’s name.  The Booster Deadline is Monday, February 25, 2008.  This deadline is for both the booster and the payment – Boosters with outstanding fees will not be included.  Please keep in mind that we cannot extend our deadlines for material to be included in the yearbook. We are contractually obligated to meet the deadlines set for us by our yearbook publishing company.  

Boosters are to be submitted to the following students:

Homeroom 1: Ana Batista, Lauren Amato, Lauren Capanong

Homeroom 2: Angelis Lau, Angelica Matos, Stacey Ha, Jhanna Moore, Julia Mahoney

Homeroom 4: Ariana Smith, Natalia, Szymanski, Caitlin Sarubbi, Aleksandra Weglarz, Christina Ortiz, Megan Pinson, Siobhan Walsh

Disclaimer: Boosters will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. All boosters will be screened for appropriateness and will concur with school policy. All boosters will be checked for spelling and grammar and will be corrected if needed. Boosters, based on the number of characters, are set at the following prices:

Characters include spaces, punctuation, letters and numbers.  We ask that you do not include symbols, in case the font chosen does not support the symbols used.  You can check the number of characters, using Microsoft Word, by highlighting your booster and clicking on Tools, then clicking on Word Count. Make sure you read the word count WITH SPACES!

The following example Booster is 152 characters and therefore is priced at $10.
