Every student at Dominican Academy takes at least two years of Latin. Students must also study at least two consecutive years of either French or Spanish.

In 2007, students continued to perform exceptionally well on the National Latin Exam:

  • 17 Gold Summa Cum Laude Awards
  • 20 Silver Maxima Cum Laude Awards
  • 21 Magna Cum Laude Awards
  • 15 Cum Laude Awards  

In 2007, students also exceled in the National French Contest. Seven girls received commendations, including one student who earned a National First Place.
