Dominican Academy celebrate the end of midterms by showing their spirit on Monday, January 29 to Friday, February 2, 2006! All proceeds from Spirit Week will go to the charities designated per day. Photos by: Ana Batista, '08 Monday: I LOVE NEW YORK How much do you love being a New Yorker? Wear any New York clothing along with regular dress-down apparel. $2 donation goes to the Catholic Relief Services.  Tuesday: CRAZY SOCK DAY Dress up your uniform** with some happy feet! Furry, fuzzy, funky, or fun, any kind of socks go. $2 donation goes to UNICEF  Wednesday: D.A. DAY Prove your D.A. pride by dressing-down in your favorite D.A. clothing, or in the school colors (blue and gold). $1 donation goes to the charities of the Dominican Sisters  Thursday: SWEATER DAY Show off a sparkly or starred or preppy or punk sweater--or any kind of sweater at all! $2 donation goes to the ASPCA  Friday: COLOR WARS Are you a mighty mighty senior, joyful junior, sensational sophomore, or a fabulous freshman? Make sure everyone knows what team you're on by wearing dress-down clothing with a shirt in your class color: Seniors: Blue  Juniors: Green  Sophomores: Pink  Freshman: Purple  $2 donation goes to Darfur. |
